Family-Placed Obituary


JAQUES, Nancy Carol 71, went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2006. She was born in Richlands, Virginia and has lived in Springfield, Ohio for 55 years. She served as a secretary at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She was a minister of the Home of Prayer Church and attended the Christ Chapel of Springfield. She also was a mentor in Alcoholics Anonymous. Her passion for life was her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, a deep love for her family and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those within her community. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Leroy S. Jaques; her daughters, Kimberly Lee Shaffer and Suzanne Lough of Springfield, Ohio; her step children, Joe, David Jaques and Faye Marsh of Springfield, Ohio; her grandchildren, Joshua and Shawn Dewell and Zachery and Kaitlyn Lough; two great grandchildren; her sisters, Billie Jean Tichenor and Diane Webster and their families of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Virginia Meadows. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, North Limestone Street, Springfield, A Dignity Memorial Provider, Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gregory Browning officiating. Burial to follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.
