Odella Jackson Obituary
News Death Notice
JACKSON, Odella 102 of Springfield passed away Saturday morning, May 16, 2009. She was born November 5, 1906 in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of Alfred and Ella (McMurtry) Gwinn. She graduated from Springfield High School and worked in the Jackson Printing Studio with her late husband. Mrs. Jackson attended St. Raphael Catholic Church and was involved in the Democratic Party. Mrs. Jackson leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Ann Jackson; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth Jackson Sr., a son, Ellsworth Jackson Jr. and two sisters. Visitation ill be Wednesday from 12 noon -1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

Just found out about your mom's homegoing. Praying for the love, peace & comfort that is given from our Creator & friends to you all. I will always remember Mrs. Jackson when I work crossword puzzles. Love you!

Wow I have so many memories of Mrs. Jackson playing cards,games,fishing, and so many other activities I could go on and on. Mrs. Jackson lived a very long and good life I know that you will miss her very much. Just know that she is at peace and at last with Mr. Jackson. He was probably wondering what took her so long but her sprit and her will to live was astounding. Please know that we will keep you and Meme in our prayers
