Paul,
Who would ever guess, that a pickup game of basketball would change the lives of so many people. I'm glad I chose you then to be on my team and also a part of my life. You were not only a good player but a good brother in- law. May your suffering be over and you rest in peace.

Lori
You and Paul have been in my heart and prayers. I just heard last night that Paul was no longer suffering.
Please call or come over if you need anything at all, no matter the time. I am only just across the street.

Daddy:
When I think of all the things you taught me and all of the things that you have passed on to my children ("the whistle", do you wanna hop up there & crow?, don't EVER challenge! & here's to you and here's to me...) I can't help but know that we all were so blessed to have had you in our lives. You will NEVER completely know how many lives you touched and much you will truely be missed. You never met a stranger & there was not one person that I ever came across that knew you that had an ill word to speak of you. Growing up you taught us to be kind & considerate of others regardless of race, religion , age or creed and we as well as you have lots of friends because of your lack of and refusal to accept the prejudices of today's world. I always knew that I could count on you regardless. I remember you whistling at me when I was on my post at work and I stopped traffic because I knew it was you. All the guys on my post thought that was hilarious because I would do that at my age but I explained briefly that Uncle Sam wouldn't turn me over his knee like my daddy would no matter how old I was! Respect was taught, demanded, expected AND given in return. While it may have been partially from fear on my part, the rest was pure admiration and pride in who you were as a whole. MY DADDY.
I salute you Sarge. I'd say sir but I know better than to sir you...you were an enlisted man. You worked for your money.
I love you. Always have. ALWAYS WILL!

Daddy, you will always be in my heart, and in my soul. You made me who I am. I have so many precious memories with you. There are not enough words to express the loss I feel with your passing. I know in my heart your with the LORD. I saw him take you HOME. I just hope your reunion was as grand as you always hoped it would be. Save me a place I am still counting on you. I love you daddy. My sincerest love and condolences in the passing of Uncle Paul Robert. Though we never spent much time together, he never forgot who I was and always asked about my wellbeing and that of my family. Till we meet again.

Dearest Family,
My heart aches with you right now, but my mind continues to recall the beautiful smile he always had when he walked into the room (especially when we were younger, as I didn't get to spend as much time with him as I got older) and the joy he had being with those he loved. We will all miss him but rejoice in knowing that we will see him again someday when our precious Lord and Savior guides us home too! My love and prayers are with you all.

Lora I just want to send my deepest sympathy. Paul will be greatly missed as a wonderful neighbor, who was always making sure our driveways were cleared from all the snow we've gotten over the years. Lora if you ever need anything were just 2 houses away don't hesitate to ask.

Paul
My dear brother and friend. The most endearing thing I remember about you was your thoughtfullness to your silibling and friends. Having 8 brothers and 9 sisters you never forgot their birthday's . You would alway's call and tell them you loved them . One thing I'll be eternally gratefull for is you giving your heart to the Lord. One day we'll Praise his name together and have a grand reunion I love you
