News Death Notice
GILLESPIE, Peyton Hunter "Boogs" age 4 months I arrived here December 2, 2009 in Community Hospital, Springfield. I was the apple of my Daddy and Mommys eyes. I was only here for a short time. Jesus took me home to be with him, March 28, 2010. Although my life was short, it was a wonderful life. I am leaving my daddy and mommy, Eddie and Megan (McClanahan) Gillespie, sisters, Savannah, Madison and Brooklyn and my brother, Johnathon; I will miss my grandmothers, Janet Gillespie and Belinda McClanahan; great grandmothers, Debbie Eben and Elsie Matney. I am also, going to miss my great grandfather, Gary Eben and my great great grandmother, Mimi. I will miss all of my uncles and aunts, Joshua, Greg, Roger, Rodney, Todd, Karen, Nikki, Tina, Kelli, Amanda, Jamie and Sarah, as well as numerous cousins. Always know that I love all of you and I know all of you will miss me. When you think about me, smile as I smiled at you every time you looked into my eyes. Remember, this is only temporary. I am at peace now and I will be waiting for all of you at the gates of heaven. A gathering to celebrate Peytons life will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2010 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME Urbana. Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Burial will follow at Terre Haute Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.

Megan, as a mother loves her child, I couldn't imagine what you are going through. All of your years growing up, I watched you hurt and somehow was able to take your pain away. I will never be able to take this pain away..my heart is broke for you. I want you to know that we will get through this together. God had a better plan for Peyton and that is all that we can hold on to now. He is our Guardian Angel and he will watch over us until the day we meet him in heaven. I love you Meg and I am so sorry

Peyton mommy and daddy love you soo very much. You were the light of our day and you will always be in our hearts. For as long as we live you will live on with us.
