To me Bob, "Mr. Gordon" stood out in my mind in the same light as my Great Grandfather Eddie Kingsley Shera. Somewhat of an Icon and Patriarch at Winona Lake. Only hearing stories passed down about Eddie Kingsley when I was a child, I always felt that Mr. Gordon must be what my Great Grandfather was like. A kind yet presidential figure that relatives and friends could rely on and attain bits of wisdom. It is with these thoughts that I find sorrow in the passing of Mr. Gordon. A person of this stature will surely be missed by all that knew him.

David and I are so sorry to learn of the death of Mr. Gordon. Although we did not know him well, we looked forward to his visits to the lake and to boatrides and all that goes with lake living. He always had a smile and a positive outlook. He was much loved by him family. We will all miss him very much.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Gordon's passing. I had the pleasure of visiting with him and Mrs. Gordon when they lived in Winter Haven, Florida. He was a man to look up to and very much a gentleman. Few men achieve the success in life that he enjoyed.

My condolences to Mrs Gordon, Sally, Janie, and Bill.

Sincerely,

Bill and Dixie Cooper,

Joe Hoke

My dad was Joe Dennison. I remember him telling many stories of his past. He talked about Mr. Gordon giving him a job at Airetool. My dad respected him a great deal. In the late 1970's I too worked at Airetool. This made my dad remember his working days at Airetool. Also, there were many people I worked with there who had stories to tell about Mr. Gordon.

My dad passed away two years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and all of the remembrances he shared with me and my family.

My sympathy is with you.
