How very blessed are those who had the utmost pleasure to be in the midst of your ever so kind father! It must give everyone instant comfort to know that in his sheer reunion with his beloved Ernestine; the dynamic duo are back together and she will happily show him the beautiful roads of heaven...where no more worldly issues shall befall him. In the loss of such a beloved and vital soul, we are left with the ongoing challenge to: be better people, love life, let the petty things of this world not devour you and help others. While his bevy of tidbits of wisdom and sense of humor shall eternally be remembered by those he met; it is his sheer humbleness and gentle spirit that should always propel each and every one of us to steadfastly endeavor to be better people.

Condolences to the Lucas family, Mr. Lucas was a wonderful man who was always willing, and able, to help with just about anything. May God bless during this difficult time but know that it was a honor to know Mr. Lucas and his friendship meant a great deal to the Bell family.

Dear Gillem,
I remember your dad fondly and love to think back about my days out there on Montgomery Ave. We had some great basketball games behind my house. I saw your dad a couple of times through the years at a restaurant. he was always most cordial and really brightened up when I would ask about you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad. Sincerely, Loring (Butch) Williams

Emily you and your family have my condolences and are in my prayers. I remember how kind your father was when I attended North High in the 60's. I will be thinking of you and your family on the day of the memorial eventhough I will not be able to be there as we talked about.

Robert sat with my grandparents Ted & Dorothy every day at Sterling House. He meant a lot to them and to our family. He gave my granparents (esp. grandpa) something that he really needed....friendship. When he spoke at my Grandpa's funeral there wasn't a dry eye in the whole room....What a wonderful man..I am truley sorry for your loss. Tanya Sizemore
