My heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Martin. He was my band director in high school. He was kind and loving when my mother passed away and he was at the funeral home with a supportive smile. He was a good man and will be missed.

For the family of Bob Martin,
He has and always will have a proud and fond place in my heart. Even after all these years, I still think of him. I attended Concord and Graham High School, but he was my private music teacher. I took lessons for a few years on Saturday afternoons at Urbana High, and he taught me to play a pretty mean alto sax (and to PRACTICE). He was locally quite famous for his music. We developed a wonderful student/instructor relationship. He was a great person and mentor.
