Robin Helton-Shawver Obituary
News Death Notice
HELTON-SHAWVER, Robin J. 49, of Springfield, died as the result of an automobile accident, Friday evening, September 4, 2010. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 24, 1961 the daughter of Gilford R. and Sibyl J. (Engle) Helton. Robin is survived by her father and step-mother, Gilford R. and Mary C. Helton; husband, Kent D. Shawver; daughter, Cortney Martz; two brothers, Tracy R.Helton and Toby D. (Rhonda) Helton; two grandchildren, Ky'Nel R. Helton and Jonathan T. Western; nieces, Ashley D. Helton, Aranne J. Helton, Alexis L. Helton, and Cansas L. Weimer; and great nephews and nieces, Ronald, Cain, Kumar, Halah, and Cali. Also surviving are two step-brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Mills and Gary (Beverly) Mills and a step-sister, Robin Coberly Mills. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1995 and a great nephew, Trey Ragland. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Walter Mock officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue.com

My Dear Robin I still can't believe you are gone. How I will miss our long talks together. What a special niece you were. I am so glad I was there for you in all your happy times, sad times and all times in between. For all of her family I want to tell everyone how much she loved each of you. Sonny if you only knew how much she loved you she would call me and say aunt pat please call and check on daddy I think he is not feeling well.
I don't suppose any one ever knew how often she called just to tell
me everything that went on in Springfield. Out walking the dog or sitting on the porch are couldn't sleep she would always call she would say aunt pat please pray for me. I told her I would but for her to pray also,she said I have been. We always told each other good bye and I Love you. Robin I am so sad tonight just wanted to tell you again I Love You and will miss you. To Courtney, Toby,Tracey and Kent she loved all of you and only wanted the best for you all. And loved her grandchildren dearly. She would call to tell me all the cute things they said and done. Robin was a good person helped everyone always thinking of other people. It is my prayer now that all of her family will live the kind of life so to be able to see Robin again and be a family again. Aunt Pat loves all of you. She is now visiting her Mother, and all of her loved one that has gone on. She is at peace now. We Love all of you. And I will be praying for you.

We love you so much Robin Jill and we are going to miss you so much. Things are never going to be the same without hearing your voice or being able to see you and be silly and have fun. Cortney you were my first lil baby and I kept you all the time when I spent summers up there, I love you and all you girls, Ashley, AJ, Alex and those babies. Im so sad that this has happened Im truely in shock and I just cant come to terms with it but I loved Robin like she was another sister and well so does Aunt Merle, Aunt Tammy, Aunt Tina, Vince and Allison, we all love you guys very much.
