News Death Notice

ANDERSON, Scott Allan 57, of Springfield, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born August 22, 1958 in Springfield, the son of Darrell Eugene and Patricia Ann (Forest) Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Union Club, the Machinist Club, the Social Club and enjoyed football, Nascar and daytime television programs. He had been a self employed dry wall installer. Survivors include his loving companion of 36 years; Brenda Zischler, his parents, three children; Stacey (Kenneth) Wolf, Dustin (Alicia) Anderson and Kyle Anderson, one grandson; Dylan Anderson, one brother; Darrell "Butch" (Gail) Anderson all of Springfield, special friends; Larry and Lori Raster, Jeff and Luann Michaels and his beloved dog; Brutus. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with services beginning at 8:00PM.

Dustin, I know what your going through inside, I lost my Grandma Wise not even one month ago she passed October 28,2015 and I lost my Mom this year also on February 4 she passed from pancreatic cancer, its been the worst year of my life. The best healing in the world in times of sympathy and loss is God's love it helps keep us strong. You will always be one of my best friends in my heart from middle school and age up, I'm always here for you 937-717-9858. My sincere prayers are with you and your family. My father, no-one could ask for a better DAD than you, you truly were the best!! You simply could not ask for a better life than you provided me and mines, you know who you are! I'm so lost and torn right now but knowing that you are at ease and pain free is a bit of a relief. You will always be loved and missed everyday all day by me, mom, Stacey Kyle, Dylan, Alicia, Kenny and grandma and grandpa...FLY HIGH DAD!! We will see you again one day. Love-your son Dustin
