STOCKHAM, Sharon R. 60, of Springfield, died Thursday evening, April 21, 2005 in her residence following a brief illness. She was born in Wheelersburg, Ohio on February 15, 1945 the daughter of Roy and Marjorie (McCarty) Kammer. Sharon had owned and operated Stockham's Beauty Shop, had taught at Frederick's Beauty School and later worked at Meijer's. Survivors include her mother of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Penny Brown of Sunbury, Ohio; a son and daughter-in-law, Heber and Hannah Stockham of Springfield; three grandchildren, Cory Andrew Brown, Casey Aaron Brown, and Makayla Grace Stockham; a half-brother, Russell McCarty Jr. of Wheelersburg; close friends, Bev and Ray Sagraves and Diana Linger; her many devoted clients from Stockham's; and many other close family members. Her father and her husband, Alva Irvin Stockham preceded her in death. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.
