I worked with Steve for many years and in multiple departments. I believe he was clock #11694. He is one of the things that I miss about Navistar or IHC. He was fun and enjoyable to be around, he always called me "Red Dog". My condolences and deepest sorrys. I am certain he will be missed.

While working at the Harvest Inn I was getting down and out about my love life. Coondog came in one day and gave me a "love rock". He said to rub it and think about the kind of man I would like in my life. I thought it was silly, but I took it home and put it in my jewelry box, and periodically would take it out and rub it and think about the love I was looking for. He would always ask me when he came in if I was doing what he said, and I told him I was, but nothing was happening. "Relax and let it happen" he would say. Well....soon after I met and married my husband....the kind of love I was looking for. Coondog was quirky I know, but with a heart of gold, and a smile for everyone. RIH my friend.

While working at the Harvest Inn, I was getting down and disheartened about love. Coondog gave me a "love rock" and told me to rub it and think about the man that I would like in my life. I put it in my jewelry box and got it out and rubbed it periodically. I told him it wasn't working and he said have patience and just let love happen naturally and stop trying so hard. I did and soon after I met my husband. I still have that love rock in my jewelry box, and it means the world to me. Coondog was quirky in many ways, but he also had the heart of gold and smiling face that I will never forget. RIH Coondog my friend.

Coondog was a one of a kind. A soul that knew no boundaries. He never met a stranger he always had kind words to say a very soft spoken man. You will be missed. He is starting another Journey. My heart goes out to all of his family they where very blessed to be as close to each other as they are.

I am truly lost. What a great man and contribution to us all. I considered him my surrogate father and confidante. He truly will be missed by my daughter and myself. Marina Ann needed her daddy and Lee needed him too! Jeanette, Lisa, and Veronica take comfort in all the lives he touched and brought to the light. I love you all. Bonnie
