News Death Notice

KUSS, Susan L. 63, of Springfield, died at 10:45 a.m. February 8, 2011 in Villa Springfield. She was born August 14, 1947 in Springfield, OH to William and Gladys (Cotter) Kuss. Susan was formerly employed at TAC Industries, where her friends and staff were the light of her life for four decades. Survivors include two sisters and spouses, Regina and Jack Taylor, Springfield and Mary and Richard LePori, Austin, TX; two brothers and spouses, Thomas and Rosalie Kuss, Urbana, OH and Tim and Cathie Kuss, Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Tony and Pat Bowers. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Villa Springfield for the care so lovingly given her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to QUEST (formerly TAC Industries).

Regina -
My aunt sent me Susan's obituary. I was so sorry to hear of her death. I remember her as a cheerful little girl and playmate, when we visited your Mom for Uncle Bill and Aunt Peg's wedding. From what my Dad told me later, I know that she was still cheerful and hard working as she grew up.
