Tamara was a wonderful person w/a beautiful spirit and I will miss chatting w/her about any and everything...One thing that sticks out about her that I noticed was that she was positive and genuine...And I talked to her about the babies, she was making sure they were in good health and she said she never thought she could love something so much, bless her beautiful soul, for it is with God now, that beautiful feeling that we dream about and we all will eventually long for ...she is feeling that right now and thats being able to feel the ultimate power and love of God in heavan, and the depth of what goes on up there. God bless the hands that raise the babies..Im convinced that they must have a veerrrry special purpose in this life. Much love and Respect to the entire family. God bless you.

To the Dunn and Dixon Family

I know the sorrow of losing a loved one, but there is joy in knowing that Tamara is in heaven with God and that she will be looking over those beautiful boys. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I know that God does not make a mistake, Tamara was done here on earth, God has a greater plan for her and we thank God for the short time that she was here on this earth. We who are belivers know that this is not the end that we will all meet up together in Heaven where there will be no more tears and no more sorrow, there will be nothing but joy and you will be with Tamara again. Take care, you know that we love you all.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Tamara was truly an irreplacable person. There are so few people who have the ability to bring joy to everyone they encounter and Tam was one of those rare breeds. It never gets easier, but it will get better, and the two beautiful boys that she blessed the world with will aid in the process.

Tamara, my heart is still aching at the reality of you being gone. We shared so many childhood memories in our younger days at St. John, and created more memories during our high school years. I continue to ask,"Why God, please tell me your reasoning for this?" I know I shouldn't question, but I just dont understand. You were a humble woman, whose laughter and smile were so contagious, even on days when I was trying to maintain an attitude! (LOL) I try through my sadness to laugh and smile at our memories that I have stored forever in my heart. I love ya TAM-TAM, and miss you. Thank you for reteaching me the definition, and of appretiation, love, and the value of LIFE. Though I wont be able to be at your homegoing service tomorrow, please know its not goodbye that I would say, it's seeya soon! LOVE YA DIVA!!

Tomorrow will be one of the hardest days I have to face. I just want to express my condolences to our whole family because we are all family. Me and Tamera have been calling eachother cousins or "cuzos" since me and her were kids. Everyone needs their own time to except what has happened. But really what did just happen? We were given two angels on earth and one in the heavens. Tonya and Teddy you know I love you and I know everyone will play their part in helping you where as needed.

LaTaunya and Teddy -

When you lose someone so young and so unexpectantly - there are no words to describe the anquish and despair you feel especially having no answer to the big 'WHY?'! Especially since this was supposed to be a time for great celebration. I cannot imagine your heartache.

Tam and my son Dustin became good friends while students at Central State. He was telling me what a joy she was.

Take care as much as you can. You are in the hearts and prayers of so many who love you and love her!

LaTaunya
Thank you for sharing Tamara with me. I never tried to mother her, because she had such honor and love for you. The kids adored her and looked forward to every visit and now want to watch Aiden and Noah grow. She was a special blessing to me and I already miss her deeply.

To the family of Tamara Dunn, I meet Tamara while working at the museum in Wilberforce while she was a student as Central State University, and she had the most beautiful contagious smile on her face and every time that I saw her and I mean every time that I saw her she would have the very same beautiful contagious smile on her face. Her smile was as genuine as her personality what a blessing.

To her family she loved you with all of her mind body and soul. I pray that you feel God’s presence with your mind body and soul today and in the days ahead, as you "send home" your beloved mother, daughter and sister. Be assured that Tamara is at rest at the feet of our Lord and Savior

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am at a loss for words over my dear, dear friend. For many years, she has been such a large part of my life... I have shared so many laughs, smiles & tears with her that it is almost impossible to say goodbye. She was always there for me... I could call her anytime, and know that she could brighten my day with her witty sarcasm... and that is just one of the MANY reasons why I loved her so. We could go for weeks on end, without a single conversation, and the minute we talked, it was like we hadn't missed a beat. That, to me, is the definition of a TRUE FRIEND and I am thankful for being able to share that with her. I just want her family (especially her mother, her grandparents, Lea & Zuri and Aiden & Noah) to know that you are all in my prayers. Tamara will live on in the twins and she will also live on in our hearts. I LOVE YOU TAM D! You will forever be my angel.

Dear LaTaunya and Family,

Please know that you are in my prayers. I was heartbroken for you when I received the news of Tamara's death. Our years together as a part of the 2XL program brought us together as a "family," and I've continued to carry you in my heart. As you go through this trying time, remember that God's love, comfort and strength will sustain you in ways that surpass understanding. I, and many others throughout the country whom I have contacted are praying for you and your family.
