News Death Notice

CROSBIE, Thomas L. 64, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in his residence with his beloved family by his side. He was born September 26, 1946 in Springfield, the son of Charles and Louise (Johnson) Crosbie. Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. He was a car salesman at the Jeff Wyler Auto Mall for 20 plus years. Tom was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Clark Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rite of Dayton. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Margaret (Wagner) Crosbie; one daughter, Kristen (Nick) Lombardo of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Brian (Kathy) Lebaroff of Springfield and Matthew Crosbie of Springfield; three brothers, Richard Crosbie of Florida, Skip (Susan) Crosbie of Springfield and David (Ellen) Crosbie of Springfield; one granddaughter, Natalie Lombardo; mother-in-law, Mary Wagner of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Crosbie. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Masonic Services starting at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the High Street United Methodist Church, 230 East High Street, Springfield with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association and Community Mercy Hospice. You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue.com
