Craig Peters Obituary
Craig was a faithful servant of God, loving Husband, Father, Brother and "G's". In his retirement years, he dedicated his time to volunteering with his local Gideons by speaking in churches and giving out Bibles. His love for Christ was known by all who knew him.
Craig was born on January 20, 1950, in Janesville, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a degree in Soil Science. During his career, he worked as a Soil Scientist and Soil Conservationist in Florida and Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard W. and Mary Ann Peters. .
Craig is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sherry Cochran Peters; his children Holly (Jonathan) McKenzie of Fairhope, AL and Justin (Lauren) Peters of Troy, AL; six grandchildren; his brother, Brian (Saeko) Peters of Pensacola, FL; and his sister, Susan Rowland of Henderson, NV.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton arranged services held November 21, 2024 at Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton, FL. .
Craig leaves behind a legacy of faith for his family and he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideons International (https://gideons.org/donate) to provide Bibles and share the Gospel around the world. Craig Richard Peters

Mr Craig and Mrs Sherry and Holly and Justin and my family all went to Southside Baptist Church in Ozark Al together when I was in the youth group there. They were a wonderful, loving family with Christ centered values and faith. My deepest and sincerest condolences
