Anita Dembiczak
Anita Dembiczak, age 90, of Stamford, Connecticut, passed peacefully on Monday, September 23rd, at Stamford Hospital, with her family surrounding her.
Anita was born on January 23, 1934, in Stamford, Connecticut. She was the last of eight children born to the late Frank Lorenti and Frances Simonetti.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Susan, son in-law Frank and grandson John Bolognino, nieces Sandra Guarino Radesky, June Schutz, Joe, Stephen and Tommy Ostaszewski, Peter and David Wilk, Dianne, Joseph, Gail and Donna Lorenti, their spouses, and children.
Anita was the Vice President of Operations at Sun Hill Industries, where she created the "Pumpkin Bag," smiling jack-o-lanterns filled with leaves, which you can see gracing the front lawns of homes across the nation every fall.
Anita infused everything she did with love and creativity. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 26th, from 4pm to 8pm at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.
