Anthony Pompa Obituary
Anthony Pompa, age 54, passed away on July 31, 2024, surrounded by loving family and friends. Anthony was born in Stamford, CT on October 14, 1969, to the late Merinda (Conetta) and Donato Michael Pompa.
An avid sports enthusiast, he knew every stat, score, play and players and loved chatting about "the game". There was no person who met Anthony and did not fall in love with him. He was blessed with more friends than anyone could ask for and loved to be in the company of others. Our hearts are broken and the world a little darker at losing such a warm, passionate, and loving man.
Anthony is survived by his pride and joy, his daughters, Alexa and Kelly. He is also survived by two sisters, Rossana (Vincent) Colangelo and Ann Marie (Eugene Molgano) Pellini as well as his niece, Marisa, nephews, Ryan and Eric, and many devoted friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.

Anthony was a great person. We were classmates as well as teammates. He was always quiet and softspoken, but when he spoke he either made you smile or laugh. I am so sorry to hear of your passing. RIP ANTHONY.

So saddened to see this obituary. A long time acquaintance, we shared 9 years at Sacred Heart School and Alter Boy robes, love of baseball and all sports. My condolences to "Pompino's" Family. I worked with Anthony, and spent more than a few nights at Friendly's on High Ridge Road with Anthony and the rest of the guys, reciting lines from Looney Tunes cartoons and just horsing around. Great time with great people. The memories will always put a smile on my face and a tear in my eyes. Rest in Piece.
