Brian Ceci Obituary

Ceci, Brian R.
Brian Robert Ceci, 37, of Gilford, N.H. unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born in New Haven, CT August 16, 1978, he was the beloved son of Theresa F. Gale of Stratford CT., and Rocco L. Ceci of Cos Cob CT. For the past 19 years Brian made his home in the state of New Hampshire. He was lead carpenter and project manager at Pangburn & Co in Laconia, N.H.. Brian was what his longtime friend and employer, Don Pangburn, would consider to be a master carpenter. He had talent that was unmatched in the industry, recalls Don, and at an early age it was evident to all who knew him that he would go on to do great things. The lakes and mountains of central New Hampshire have countless tributes to his skills in the lasting beauty of all the creations of such a talented young man. Brian loved his trade and took great pride in his accomplishments. He was an avid rock and ice climber with a passion for the outdoors. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to make others laugh and smile. In addition to his parents, Terri and Rocco, he is survived by his brothers Rocco L. Ceci Jr. (Kelsey) of China, Steven E. Ceci (Kelly) and his sister Samantha M. Ceci both of Cos Cob, grandmother Maria Ceci of Guilford, CT, several aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and two nephews. Also friends from N.H. and CT. Brian was predeceased by his great-grandmother Marie F Madigan, grandfathers Robert Kenneth Gale and Francesco Ceci, grandmother Ruth Jean Gale, aunt Lisa M. Gale and nephew Scott R.Gale.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford in celebration of Brian's life on Saturday June 18, from 12:00-4:00 PM with a prayer service at 12:30 PM. Father Richard Murphy will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brian's memory to Kids in Crisis, 1 Salem Street, Cos Cob, CT 06807
