Catherine Martin Obituary

CATHERINE CALITRI MARTIN - 91, of Georgetown , died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Norwalk Hospital.

Born January 22, 1915, in New Canaan, she was the daughter of the late Fedele & Concetta Monticarlo Calitri.

Catherine was a faithful member of The Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Fatima in Wilton, CT and a member of The Grange in Wilton for many years.

She is survived by her daughters; Kathleen Pape of New Fairfiled, CT. and Joyce Goldstein of Norwalk,CT ; two brothers; Vito Calitri of Stamford,CT , Fredrick Calitri of New Canaan, CT. and a sister, Rose Calitri Kondziela of Fairfield, CT. She also is survived by 6 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother John Calitri and her sisters Jean Calitri Brown and Camille Calitri Moran.

Friends will be received at the Hoyt Funeral Home,199 Main Street , New Canaan, CT on Friday March 31, 2006 from 4PM to 8PM.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan. Interment will follow at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery, Darien, CT.
