Fredrick Richardson Obituary
Fredrick Paco Richardson, Jr., 37, departed this life on August 16, 2016. He was born on July 10, 1979 in Stamford, Connecticut to Fredrick Richardson, Sr. and the late Barbara McCord Richardson. Paco's memories will be cherished by his father, Fredrick Richardson, Sr.; grandmother, Lillian "Peaches" Richardson; sister, Maria McCord of Chicago, IL; brother, Jordan Richardson; aunts, Carolyn Viola Young and Patricia (John) Wooten all of Stamford, Emily (Craig) Dixon Fontana of California; uncle Leon (Dorothy) Richardson of Charleston, SC and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave Stamford, CT. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news the other week on News 12 Connecticut. I went to Westill high school with Paco and his brother Jordan. We even went to day camp together back in the early 90's. I lost touch with the Richardsons after high school, but always remembered them. Paco and Jordan were great at playing sports, and I enjoyed playing basketball with them back in the day. It's always nice going down memory lane thinking about people I knew from my childhood. However, I am sorry that me coming across Paco had to be in this form. My condolences go out to his family.

As I read this I can't help but remember all the times that I went to get my haircut from Barbara. There were always pictures of her beautiful daughter and her two adorable sons & oh how she would talk about them. She loved her children dearly. I send my deepest sympathy to all who loved this young man & may it bring you all comfort to know that he is again in the arms of his loving Mother, who also left this earth too soon.

To Paco's Grandmother, Brother, Sister,Aunts, Cousins and the multitude of friends who survive him,
Paco's parents had shown kindness to me when I was very alone
back in 1980 . We all used to walk on Adams Avenue, his late mother and the children in the stroller...or holding on.. That is how I remember him. These last few months your family has had to bear an unimaginable situation and I reached out to Paco and had been looking forward to having lunch with him. I regret that I didn't get to do that.
I want all of you to know that you all are in my prayers for the courage and strength to live.. In my culture, we are reminded that we should take what we loved most of our loved perhaps his sweetness, the Light he embodied....and BE that Light in the world by walking that walk here on earth where they no longer can. I am sorry that I cannot pass along the love his family showed him to me....but I hope each of you who are grieving will choose to do some act of Love in his honor....or many of them.
May each of your hearts find comfort. And peace.
