Isadorah Baker Obituary

ISADORAH REBECCA EDMONDSON BAKER - lovingly known as "Grammy Baker" or "Issy", age 74 of Norwalk entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Norwalk Hospital.

She was born on February 3, 1932 in Whitehall, St. Thomas, Jamaica to the late James Alexander Edmondson and Eva Adelaide Watson Edmondson.

She was a former resident of Stamford for 40 years and a resident of Norwalk for 2 years. She was a member of Shiloh Apostolic Church of Bridgeport where she was a Missionary and an usher. She worked as a C.N.A. for over 20 years and worked at Smith House in Stamford for 10 years until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter Erma Delrosa Wellington of Bridgeport;, her twin brother, Ezekiel Benjamin Edmondson, her brothers Nehemiah, Daniel E. and Arthur Edmondson; sisters, Kelsida Mclune and Leonora Jarrett.

Predeceased by brother Alphonso, Leonard and Uriah Edmondson, sister, Inez McPherson. Racheal, Beverly and Maxine Edmondson. Four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 244 East Avenue, Norwalk. Funeral services will immediately follow. Bishop E. N. Skyers, Officiating. Interment at Edmondson Family Plot, St. Thomas, Jamaica.

Arrangements entrusted to Downer Funeral Homes, Inc., 75 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
