Jes Jessen Dall III

JES JESSEN DALL III of Stuart, Florida and Old Greenwich, CT, passed away peacefully in his 88th year, on March 17, 2009 in Stuart, Florida after a very brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Clare James Dall, his son David Dall, his wife Michele and their children Jessen David and Morgan Grace Dall all from Old Greenwich. He was predeceased by his son Jon Dall and is survived by his two grandchildren Taylor and Brooke Dall of Frankfort, MI. Jes graduated from The Taft School and Cornell University. He was a decorated veteran of WWII where he served in the "Super 6th" 231st heavy artillary division during the Battle of the Bulge and across Europe. Jes worked at Union Carbide for many years and participated in the chemical engineering of several components utilized by NASA during the Apollo program in the 60's. Following in his fathers footsteps, Jes became a custom home builder 34 years ago and started Clarke Builders, Inc. and was also the past chairman of Scholz Design. He was a long time member of the Riverside Yacht club. A memorial service will be held on April 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Riverside, CT and a graveside service will be held for the family at Woodlawn Cemetery Bellport, Long Island In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Habitat for Humanity.
