David, we were shocked to learn of your father's death. When we visited last summer, he and your mom were such wonderful hosts. Jes and my wife Mary Lovelock swam in the pool, and your parents took us to dinner at their favorite Chinese restaurant. They were always so nice to us, and we regret we didn't see enough of them when we lived in Connecticut. We won't be able to come up for the memorial service, but we'll be there in spirit.
