It was a special friendship which made special memories. I have vivid memories of playing golf at Sterling Farms at 5:57 AM with John and his friend Otto. It was not a leisurely stroll with these two, but more like a track meet which suited me since I had to go to work after 9 holes.
John was always good for some sage advice which I appreciated. He was a good man.
