John O'Neill Obituary

JOHN ALBERT O'NEILL, died Friday morning at his residence in Walterboro, S.C. after an extended battle with cancer.. Mr. O'Neill was born in Long Island, NY June 17, 1933 a son of the late Jack Burt and Rhoda F. O'Neill. He was an Army and a retired carpenter of local 210. His joys in his life were his family and building furniture in his shop. He loved sports and was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Helen Hiott O'Neill; four children: Susan Kelly, John O'Neill, Kelly O'Neill and Christopher O'Neill all of Stamford. Also two step-children: Debra Myers and Barry Smith of Walterboro, SC. He also leaves behind a brother, Edward O'Neill of Norwalk; and 13 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and six step-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Anne Forbes O'Neill, brother, Charles O'Neill, and sister, Rhoda O'Neill Futterman He was be buried Monday December 20th at Bamburg Memory Gardens. Big AL was a Very Kind Man, He's Heart was as Big as a Star in the sky, He was a Very Strong Man in his Days, Building Furniture was his passion & he was Very Good at it !! We had a few Really Good times together full of Laughs, I will definetly miss you ! all my love Big AL !!
