John A. "Jack" Quell

JOHN (JACK) A. QUELL - 53, of Norwalk, husband of Terry Tavella Quell, died suddenly, Thursday, September 1st in the Norwalk Hospital. Jack was born in Stamford on October 17, 1951, son of Shirley Waters Quell of Norwalk and the late John W. Quell and resided in Norwalk most of his life. He was employed by the 2nd District Water Department, Norwalk for many years. He was an active member of the Norwalk High School Marching Bears and a member of the Laurel Athletic Club. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Katie Quell and a son, John J. Quell, both of Norwalk; 2 brothers, Rick Quell of Westport and Tom Quell of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
