Dear Connie,Pat,Denise.Linda,Cindy and Joey.
Since I first heard of Joes passing, all the wonderful memories over the thirty years we lived next door, and shared house and yard for all the events of both family's came flooding back.To list all the kindly things Joe did for me and my family would be an impossible task.
He is at peace now Connie and we all know where such a good man has gone and been greeted by one very happy neighbor.
Joe truly was a GENTLE-MAN.I feel I have lost a brother.
My heartfelt Love and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Aunt Connie and family,
I had the privilege and pleasure of joining your family through marriage 21 years ago, and getting to know Uncle Joe was one of the many great benefits. We are all deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Uncle Joe, and are equally sorry for your loss. He will be remembered for how he embodied life and how he always lit up any occasion with his warm smile and endearing ways. We feel blessed for having known him and will always treasure the memories of his life. "Hey Daddy" will always ring in our ears and our hearts, when we think of Uncle Joe.
Love, John, Lisa, Rachel & Ray

It was a pleasure to have known you, you will surly be missed, but not forgotten, and you will always be in my heart.

To Connie, Pat, Aurora, Linda, Cindy, Joe and Chrissy, and the rest of the Pellicano family--our hearts are so sad at Joe's passing but also so full that we had a chance to know and love this wonderful man--we will never forget the first day we met him (with you Connie) at your home in Stamford and were greeted with a Hello Sweetheart (for me) and a Hiya Dad! (for Tommy) and then proceeded to sit down and eat at the dining room table with him, you and the rest of your family (I even remember those wonderful homemade french fries LOL) when Joe and Chrissy first got engaged way back when--my goodness (thinking) well over 25 years ago now? What memories.....and what a truly wonderful man he was and shall be sorely missed--our hearts and prayers are with all of you right now--Love Doreen, Tom and Sarah

Dear Joe's Family: No matter how much we know our dear friends and family will leave this earth one day, it is always a surprise. Joe was our friend. He always got kisses and hugs from many of us each time he entered our get-togethers to chauffer Connie and sometimes Rosalie and others. He had a great big smile and warm, sincere eyes, always cheerful on the outside. Now he is at home. All of us Goodwives Quilters will miss him very much. What a wonderful man. Connie, you did a good job training him. But somehow I think it must have been easy most times, until near the end of his life here on earth. God bless you and your family, always.

To all the Pellicanos—
There wasn't a more loving husband, father or friend than Joseph Pellicano. My memories of him today are as vivid and as wonderful as they were 40 years ago. He had the most charitable heart and demeanor of anyone I've ever known and had an everlasting spirit. I hope you will find comfort in your loss by knowing how many hearts and souls he touched with his goodness and smile.

I had the honor of working with Joe "Daddy" about 20 years ago at Intech in Stamford. Absolutely everyone, including myself, loved Joe. God doesn't make a man any better than Joe Pelicano. He left his mark with me as he did with everyone he met. God doesn't need to bless him, he's already a Saint.

Some of my first memories of Glenbrook Road have to do with Grandpa Joe running the raffles for St. Maurice Church. For the next 30 years, the Pellicano family was forever part of my family's lives. I went to school with Denise, my brother drove to high school with Patrick and Grandpa Joe gave my daughter her first ice cream cone on his back steps. Joe and Connie will always be a part of our lives. I expect to see Joe selling raffle tickets and giving out ice cream cones in heaven. God Bless and thank you for teaching us what a good neighbor is suppose to be.

Dearest Dad,
You have been the most wonderful role model and father to me. You will always be in my thoughts, and in my heart. I will miss you so much and will always cherish the times we had together, especially the many long walks around Cove Park. It comforts me to know that you are relieved of all your pain and are finally at peace. Much love to you Dad until we meet again.
