I was deeply saddened to learn of Michael's death. I knew him for many years as my colleague and friend on the Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission. He was thoughtful, compassionate and a scholar - liked and respected by all. His death is a great loss to all who knew him. My condolences to Harriet and his family. Robin Waller

My condolences to Harriet and family. I had the pleasure of practicing before Mike as an attorney and then serving with him on the Workers' Compensation Commission. I have fond memories of his friendship and wisdom.

To the Sherman Family: I served 10 years on the Board of Reps from District 15 and got to know Michael pretty well from his attending Committee meetings over the years. I found him to be a true gentleman I wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss.
