A true warrior has gone home to GOD. May Fr. Nagle rest in the arms of his Lord Whom he served so faithfully. With great humility, sincerity and charity, he never deviated from teaching the TRUTH of the Catholic faith and reaching out to his parishoners - at all hours of the day and night!

The obituary did not mention that Monsignor Nagle also taught Latin at Stamford Catholic High School (now Trinity Catholic High School) in the 1960s. He had a fine sense of humor and a great deal of patience with our freshman class. We will always remember our teacher with deep fondness.

Although I had not seen him for many years I well remember his friendship when I was a parishioner at St Bridgets. He was a shy man and often he would call me asking me to keep him company when attending various functions. He now an rest in peace with the Lord.
With love, prayers and blessings,

I was truly honored to call Monsignor Nagle my preist growing up at St. John's. I didn't make my holy communion there but I was part of the choir (the youngest member as they had no children's choir), part of CCD, and other youth services at the church, and I remember how he would buy us ice cream and pizza and talk to the youth. Take your place among the Angels, Monsignor and have your heavenly rest as you have ran your race and finished your course. Say hello to Father Brisette, Father Murphy, Monsignor Halloran, Father Nieche, and Father O'Neal for me.
