WEST BOYLSTON- Nancy J. Pasiak, 86, passed away on July 10, 2023, at Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester.
Nancy was born in Stamford, Connecticut, moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida in 1994 and then to Worcester, Massachusetts in 2019 to be closer to her family. She was a medical assistant, a teacher's aide, and an office manager of social services, all in the City of Stamford. She was also president of Stamford Employees Credit Union and of the Sugar Mill 9 Hole Golfers in New Smyrna Beach. She made lasting friendships wherever she lived.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Joseph Perna of Greenville, New Hampshire; her grandson, Andrew Perna and his wife, Christine of West Boylston; her twin great-grandsons, Austin and Bryce Perna of West Boylston; a brother, Paul Romaniello and his wife, Martha of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and many dear friends from CT, FL and MA.
Nancy was predeceased in death by her husband, Joseph of 60 years; her parents, Paul and Margaret Romaniello; and her brother, Peter Romaniello.
Nancy's family wishes to thank JHC Hospice, especially Shannon, for her exceptional care and also the staff at Knollwood Nursing Center.
Family and friends will celebrate her life with visiting hours on Monday, July 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Interment will be held privately later in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to JHC Hospice, 646 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609, or to the National MS Society, Greater New England, 465 Waverly Oaks Rd., Suite 202, Waltham, MA 02452.

Suzanne, Joe, Andrew, Christine, Austin, Bryce and the Romaniello and Pasiak families: Sincerest sympathy!
Nancy was my FRIEND! We were buddies in school, remained buddies as young adults, married and continued our friendship and ties. We worked for the City of Stamford for many years, were active in the Credit Union and bonded over and over again and again. We went through thick and thin so many times, ad became stronger. I will miss her beautiful smile, her kindness, and strength, everything always there when I needed it. Rest in peace, my forever friend. Joe and your family members are welcoming you now.

Suzanne, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of Nancy. She and I worked for the City of Stamford at the same time, as well as being volunteers to the Stamford Credit Union for many years. I will always remember her warm smile and pleasant nature. Dear Suzanne and all Nancy's dear Family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences over losing your beloved Nancy. She was a very special friend, with the warmest smile and demeaner, always great fun! We'll never forget Sugar Mill 9 Hole parties enjoyed with Joe and Nancy and other special Bag Lady friends. Also, rollicking Domino parties that still make us laugh. I have so many fond memories of your mom at many of Susan and John´s birthday parties. She always was the life of the party. I loved her quick wit. And she never let anyone get away with anything! Especially Peter . I´m so glad I got to have lunch with her not all that long ago. I´m so sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were the best! I thoroughly enjoyed your family get together´s, it was so much love and respect
