ROBERT A. "BOB" SAWLES age 51, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, September 25, 2008, at the Stamford Hospital after a year-long battle with cancer. Born in Norwalk August 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Harriet Michaelson and a graduate of Brien McMahon High School, Class of 1975. Robert had worked as a machinist for M & B Automotive in Stamford and was a collector of toys and sports memorabilia. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Sawles of Norwalk, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Sunday, September 28, 5 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Bob's family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 PM until services begin.
