Theresa Tamburri Obituary
Born May 26, 1926, in Settefrati, Italy, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Tamburro Capocci, she was a long time Norwalk resident. Mrs. Tamburri had been a nurse's aid at Fairfield Manor Convalescent Home for many years, and was a long time member of St. Joseph Parish.
Survivors include three sons; Joseph Tamburri, of Norwalk, Ralph Tamburri, of Bethel, and Dominick Tamburri, of Norwalk, three daughters; Marie Staton, of Vanceboro, NC, Anna Tamburri and Joann Tamburri, both of Norwalk, a brother; Jack Capocci, of Darien, fourteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, 85 South Main Street, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday, 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue.
