I can't put into words how much I adored Carmella while I worked at the Laurels. I stopped today and only found out today that she had passed. She made me smile every day I worked there, she was truly a bright light always willing to share her senapes pizza with me. My heart is broken, she called me her little meatball because I'd sneak her a leftover meatball here and there. I can honestly say I loved her very much, her wonderful spirit and the jokes we'd make together, I only wish I'd have known when it happened, I'd have been to see her more or at least have been able to go to the funeral. I'll miss her forever and you will all be in my prayers, ill never eat senapes without thinking about her. God bless you all and may beautiful Carmella rest in peace. ❤

So very sorry to read of the passing of Mrs. Barletta. We like so many others knew her so well from seeing her at all of our Angela Park visits. What a wonderful job was done by the family to entertain the people of the area. A real excitement and appreciation was the day in 1982 my son Kevin participated in the 1982 pageant and was chosen the last Little Mr. Angela Park. We were residents of White Haven, Pa and have been residents of Bangor, Pa since 1983. Out thoughts and blessings go out to the entire family. Prayers to all.
