David P. Beauregard, 69, of Drums passed away Monday evening in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton following a short illness.
Born in Providence, R.I., on March 4, 1954, he was the son of the late S. Peter and Lucille (Bertrand) Beauregard and spent the past 18 years in Drums after moving from Chester County.
David was a computer programmer for Unisys in Malvern and had previously worked for Lockheed Martin, King of Prussia, for 17 years. He enjoyed his work and liked spending his free time playing golf, deer hunting and watching episodes of "M*A*S*H" and "Gunsmoke."
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Cheryl Witner, to whom he was married on Oct. 21, 1978, in Phoenixville; three sons, Raymond Beauregard and wife, Dawn, McAdoo; Kevin Beauregard and companion, Billie Jo "BJ" Smith, Harleigh; and Brian Beauregard, Drums; a daughter, Jennifer Becker, Hazle Twp.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann-Marie Kirkutis and husband, Butch, Rhode Island; and Judi Cox and husband, Greg, Reading; two brothers, Mark Beauregard and wife, Nancy, Lancaster; and Eric Beauregard and wife, Leslie, Malvern; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
His funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
