James Vajda Obituary
Born in Hazleton on Aug. 11, 1970, he was the son of Janet (Mudrick) Vajda, Hazleton, and the late Thomas Vajda and was a lifelong resident of the area.
He graduated from Hazleton High School in 1988 and obtained an associate's degree from Lincoln Tech.
James was a security system technician for Vector Security, Wilkes-Barre. He enjoyed playing with his kids, watching football, cheering on the Miami Dolphins, and working on his home.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his loving wife, the former Kristin Washko, to whom he was married on June 13, 1997; three children, Isabella, Jacob and Ryder Vajda, all of Drums; a sister, Diane Paranac and her husband, Dennis, Drums; brothers, Thomas Vajda Jr., Hazleton; and Gary Vajda and his wife, Cindy, Hazle Twp.; mother-in-law, Carol Washko; and father-in-law, Jack Timony, Sugarloaf Twp.; nieces and nephews, Derek, Alexis, Anthony, Chandler, Olivia and Brooklyn; great-niece, Sophia; and great-nephew, Cameron.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday with a memorial service from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Deacon Leonard Kassick will officiate the service.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the services Saturday at the funeral home.

I am going to miss you so much little brother. I pray you are at peace and have no more pain. You will be missed so much and all we have left are our memories throughout the years. One day we will meet again. Until that time, Rest In Peace Jimmy.

Jimmer was one of the first friends I had. He will always be remembered, a lot of memories with the rest of the gang at Altmiller playground, I'm so sorry ! the news hurt me . Godspeed Jimmer !

I'm so very sorry to hear of Jimmer's passing. Oh how I loved to hear the stories you's told me of the pizzeria and of days gone by. Prayers sent to all of the family as we are remembering him fondly.
