Janet Radziewicz Obituary

Janet A Radziewicz, 89, formerly of West Hazleton, passed away Thursday at Providence Place in Drums where she had been residing.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Thelma Davis.

She was a graduate of Hazle Twp., Class of 1951, and prior to retiring she was employed at Thoren Industries.

She was an active, lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Susan Larock (Richard); and Valerie Radziewicz; brother, Allen Davis (Marita); sister, Marilyn Gosdeck (Anthony); and her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ Lutheran Church in Hazleton. Friends may call beginning at 9 a.m. in the church.

Memorial donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.

I am so sad to know that Janet passed away. She was more than a friend to me. She was more like an older sister, someone I looked up to and tried to model myself after. She was my mentor and confident. I will miss her terribly.
