Janice T. Prokop, 68, of Drifton passed away Monday at her home with her husband by her side.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Mary Frances (Reardon) Allen.
She was a graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia.
Before retiring, she was a job monitor for the Area Agency on Aging, Hazleton.
Janice loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, flowers, fishing and reading Danielle Steele novels.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were sisters, Joan DeVita and Mary McGroarty.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Gerald; daughters, Janice Mary Neuls and her husband, Jim, New Jersey; and Dawn Marie Prokop, White Haven; sister, Jackie Campbell and her husband, Fran, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley Maddock, New Jersey; James Neuls Jr. and his fiancée, Ashley Raymond, Pennsylvania; and Lynnette Neuls, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, James Neuls III, Pennsylvania; and Logan Neuls, New Jersey.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
McNulty Funeral Home, 494 E. Butler Drive, Freeland, is in charge of arrangements.
