Joseph A. Synoraski, 83, of Hazleton died June 17 at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums.
Born Jan. 23, 1939, in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha Synoraski and was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish, Church of St. Joseph, Hazleton.
Following graduation from high school, Joe served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1958 through 1964. Until his retirement, he was employed as a mechanic for Pagnotti coal mining.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Synoraski, earlier this year.
Joe was survived by his wife, the former Barbara Marillo, who sadly passed a week after Joe did.
Surviving are his sons, John Synoraski and his wife, Diane, Harrisburg; and Mark Synoraski, Hazleton; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany and Samantha Synoraski; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Bugay; and brother, William Synoraski.
A combined memorial service for Joe and his wife will be held at noon Saturday at Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, 530 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Deacon Leonard Kassick will preside.
Burial will take place in Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Hazleton.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday for a visitation period that will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until the time of service.
