Judith Slusser Obituary

Judith Ann Slusser, 64, of Millmont passed away in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, on Dec. 23.

She was born June 6, 1957, in Hazleton, the daughter of Dolores (Pepsny) Funanage and the late Martin Funanage, of West Hazleton.

She graduated from West Hazleton High School in 1975, and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Wilkes College in 1983.

She was married to the late Woody Slusser of Berwick.

Judith enjoyed reading, nature, animals and especially taking walks with her dog, Shiloh. She will be remembered for her deep love for her daughter and grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Nicole K. (Matthew) Williams; and grandchildren, Rylan, Nicholas and Makayla, Sumter, S.C.

Also surviving are brothers, Mark (Bridget) Funanage, Las Vegas, Nev.; Robert (Vicky) Funanage, Wilmington, Del.; and David Funanage, West Hazleton.

Contributions in Judith's memory may be made to Haven to Home Canine Rescue (www.haventohome.org), Berwick, or ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
