Lance A. Wolfe, 83, of Stillwater passed away Saturday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Zion Grove on March 21, 1938. He was the son of the late William and Mary (Singley) Wolfe and spent the past 30 years in Stillwater after moving from Bridgewater Twp., N.J.
Lance was a certified millwright, construction and maintenance manager for Union Carbide. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a real estate investor and township auditor. He was a member of the Benton School Board and had served as president. He loved antique and classic cars and was a restorer/collector. Him and his wife were also bird dog breeders/trainers/handlers. He was an avid fisherman and high school sports enthusiast.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother, Walter Wolfe; and sister, Catherine Brobst.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne (Fisher) Wolfe, to whom he was married in 1958; and one brother, Barry Wolfe, Zion Grove. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Heather Jacoby and her husband, Ron, Berwick.
His funeral will be held with a graveside service in Hargers Cemetery, Beaver Twp., at a time and date to be announced through Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.
Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Resource Center in Bloomsburg.
