Lawrence J. "Larry" Sidari passed away July 3 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born and raised in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Ann (Corrigan) Sidari.
His greatest joy was sharing his life with his wife, Kim, and his children. They raised a beautiful family and their home was always filled with love, family, friends and always great food! Larry and Kim enjoyed traveling. They were always ready for and adventure. His favorite memories were family trips to Stone Harbor and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Larry was founder of HATS Ambulance Service. During his years at HATS, he was active in the Greater Hazleton community and sponsored many charity events. He later went on to build Corrigan House, an assisted living residence, with his late wife, Kimberly (Yuhas) Sidari.
Larry will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help anyone in need and his warm welcoming smile and sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kim; and niece, Jennifer Sidari.
He leaves behind his loving children, Amanda Freedman and husband, Eric; Chelsea Cabell and husband, Michael; Cassandra Sidari; and Lawrence (LJ) Sidari.
His treasured grandchildren are Julian and Theo Cabell and Margot and Arthur Freedman.
Also surviving are brothers, Peter Sidari and wife, Patricia; Anthony Sidari and wife, Carol; Jude Sidari and wife, Molly; parents-in-law, Wister and Thelma Yuhas; brother-in-law, Wister Yuhas and wife, Kristin; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
