Leonard Shawn Buchman of West Hazleton passed away of natural causes Saturday at his home.
Born in Hazleton, he was the beloved son of Leonard J. and MaryLou (Brehm) Buchman, who were blessed to be his parents. He was a lifetime resident of West Hazleton.
Preceding in death were his maternal grandparents, Honey and John Brehm Jr.; and paternal grandparents, Tina and Helms Buchman.
Shawn was a beloved father and best friend to his surviving children, Amanda and Jonathan; both thought their father was the greatest and kindest man they ever knew. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Buchman; and niece, Sydney.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Donations in memory of Shawn may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
