Mary Ann (Diltz) Badolato, 70, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Stillwater.
Born in Berwick on Dec. 8, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Josephine (DeFelice) Diltz. She graduated from Berwick High School in 1968. Mary Ann worked as a seamstress for many years at Briar Knitwear. She later worked at Kmart for 10 years and Wise Potato Chips until her retirement.
Mary Ann attended LCBC Church, Bloomsburg. She enjoyed attending social meals at local churches. She liked listening to music, especially the Beatles. She loved going to the Jackson Mansion every Thursday during the summer to watch musicians play. She also liked to country line dance. Mary Ann liked to go to yard sales and play bingo. She adored Saturday morning breakfast at Morris' with her granddaughter.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Cami Badolato and fiancée, Joseph Smith, Hazle Twp.; and Kevin Badolato and fiancé, Laura Knorr, Briar Creek; and grandchildren, Gian Harris, Joseph Smith Jr. and Alana Badolato. She also leaves behind sisters, Barbara Ulanoski, Winter Springs, Fla.; and Carla Lewis and husband, Greg, Berwick; stepsisters, Kae Ward, Nanticoke; and Irene Yost, Bloomsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Diltz; sister, Theresa Beck; and step-mother, Fern Diltz.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday from Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. Third St., Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of service.
