Mary L. Kaschak, 89, of Hazleton passed away Thursday morning in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
She was born in Freeland, daughter of the late Anthony and Angeline (Sandura) Citro. She was a member of the Parish of Ss. Cyril and Methodius at the Church of St. Joseph and of the Confraternity of Christian Women.
Mary was an avid bingo player, loved her game shows and was a Penn State Fan.
Mary also was devoted to her family and attended all her grandchildren's events throughout the years, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James J. Kaschak, in January; and the following brother and sisters, Francine Havay, Michael Citro and Louise Greer.
She is survived by her children, James J. Kaschak and his wife, Karen, West Hazleton; Gary Kaschak and his wife, Amy, York; and Denise Kaschak, Hazleton; her sister, Angeline Vitro, Hazleton; seven grandchildren, Christian, Amanda, Caroline, Jonathan, Morgan, Kyle and Rebecca; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at the Parish of Ss. Cyril and Methodius at the Church of St. Joseph.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Friends and relatives may call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
