Nancy F. (Fortwangler) Ebling, 93, a resident of Whitehall, passed away Jan. 13.
She was the wife of Walter K. Ebling for 70 years at the time of his passing in 2020.
Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Harold H. and Olive (Fowler) Fortwangler. Nancy was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Fullerton, Whitehall. A 1946 graduate of Weatherly High School, she worked at the Hazleton National Bank, Weatherly, for many years, and retired in 1985 from Merchants National Bank, Allentown.
She is survived by her son, Walter J. Ebling; granddaughter, Rebecca, with her husband, Andrew Silberman; grandson, Carl; great-grandson, Andrew; a niece; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Walter; sons, William R. and Wayne H. Ebling; brothers, William H. and Robert L. Fortwangler; sister, Nelda F. Churry; and niece, Jacqueline Churry.
Private graveside services were held in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
