Nancy Ebling Obituary
Nancy F. (Fortwangler) Ebling, 93, a resident of Whitehall, passed away Jan. 13.
She was the wife of Walter K. Ebling for 70 years at the time of his passing in 2020.
Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Harold H. and Olive (Fowler) Fortwangler. Nancy was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Fullerton, Whitehall. A 1946 graduate of Weatherly High School, she worked at the Hazleton National Bank, Weatherly, for many years, and retired in 1985 from Merchants National Bank, Allentown.
She is survived by her son, Walter J. Ebling; granddaughter, Rebecca, with her husband, Andrew Silberman; grandson, Carl; great-grandson, Andrew; a niece; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Walter; sons, William R. and Wayne H. Ebling; brothers, William H. and Robert L. Fortwangler; sister, Nelda F. Churry; and niece, Jacqueline Churry.
Private graveside services were held in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.

Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692; American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123; or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.

So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a Weatherly High School classmate of my Dad, Fred Bretsky and I remember Walter( Jimmy) from elementary school. Please accept my sympathy and prayers for you and your family.
