Rocco G. Fallabel, 73, passed away suddenly Tuesday at his home in Drums.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Maurice and Sophia (Wiskoski) and was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Drums.
Rocco graduated from St. Gabriel's High School, class of 1968, and Mansfield State College, class of 1972. He taught in the Hazleton Area School District for 32 years and taught numerous computer courses for Intermediate Unit 18.
Rocco and his wife Lorraine owned and operated Dial-A-Deck and more T/A Fallabel Custom Construction. Rocco took great pride in designing and building custom homes and decks for over a 25-year span.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were two infant brothers; and sisters-in-law, Joanne Marsicano and Georgette Fallabel.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Lorraine Marsicano; brother, Gerald Fallabel; brother-in-law, Joseph Marsicano; nieces, Maria Mignogna and husband, Michael; and Christine Noel Fallabel-Wilson and husband, Kevin; nephews, Eric Fallabel and wife, Missy; and Matthew Fallabel and husband, Carlos; great-nieces, Lucia Mignogna and Kira Fallabel; and great-nephews, Michael Mignogna and Micah Fallabel.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Good Shepherd Church, Drums. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
