Theresa Marie Sporay, 83, of McAdoo passed away Sunday morning in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Kovatch) Sellers.
Theresa was a graduate of McAdoo High School, Class of 1956.
She was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Theresa was also a member of the former St. Stephen's Parish and the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, both of McAdoo, and a prefect in the Altar Rosary Society.
Prior to retiring, Theresa was employed as a certified nursing assistant for more than 14 years with Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Twp.
Theresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Francis "Cy" Sporay; brother, Joseph Sellers; sister, Bernadine Rynkiewicz; niece, Susan Sellers; and nephew, David Sellers.
Surviving are her sons, Richard Sporay, McAdoo; and George Sporay and wife, Jennifer, Camp Hill; daughter, Marian Merrick and husband, Thomas, Drums; grandchildren, Louis and Emily; nephews, Joseph Sellers, Boiling Springs; and Ronald Sellers, Wyoming; and niece, Kathleen Mihok, Exeter.
Her funeral will be held Friday. Monsignor William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
