Walter Bevans, 71, of Jeanesville passed away Saturday at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born Aug. 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Roy and Dora (Beishline) Bevans.
Walter was one of 17 brothers and sisters. His large family made each day an adventure with memories to last a lifetime.

Walter was a very talented carpenter, working in construction throughout his life. Walter's greatest joy, however, was his family. He enjoyed the moments spent with his children and grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his brothers, John and Henry Bevans; sisters, Doris Damico and Darlene Soult; and his beloved daughter, Amy Vitek.
Surviving are his son, Walter "Buddy" Bevans; daughters, Andrea Dercole and her husband, Mario; Samantha Osifat and her husband, Joseph; Amanda Heck and her husband, Josh; as well as 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Walter is also survived by brothers and sisters, Roy Bevans; Christopher Bevans; Harold Bevans and his wife, Lynn; Richard Bevans and his wife, Michelle; Dave Bevans and Martha; Lewis Bevans and his wife, Vicki; Betty Markle; Shirley Tolerico and her husband, Guy; Eleanor Leonard; Margaret Steinmetz and her husband, Charles; Debra Matsko and her husband, George; and Marilyn Bevans.
