Angelo Mastrantonio Obituary
Angelo J. Mastrantonio Jr. was born December 31, 1954 in Sayre, PA the son of Angelo J. and Beverly (Templar) Mastrantonio Sr. He passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 21, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. His father, Angelo and namesake, preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved mother, Beverly Weiss of Elmira, NY; loving son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas J. and Danielle Mastrantonio of Elmira; adored granddaughter and the light of her grandpa's eye, Myla; brothers, Pete (Tammy) Mastrantonio of Conway, SC; Tom (Cindy) Mastrantonio of Elmira, NY; niece and nephews, Pete (Jamie) Mastrantonio, Lisa (Jim) Crooker; Ryan (Heather) Mastrantonio, Mike (Emily) Mastrantonio; along with several great nieces and great nephews. Angelo was retired from the NYSDOC after 28 years of dedicated service as a Corrections Officer. He was a huge sports fan and loved the New York Rangers and Oakland Raiders. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed trap shooting. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service celebrating Angelo's life will follow the visitation at 7 PM. The Reverend Joe Chamberlin will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11 AM. Angelo's guestbook may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com
