Barbara Cesarini Obituary
nee: Karney
Age 76 of Elmira, died Thursday, June 16, 2011. The most loving, caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Sister-in-law, and Friend who saw in and brought the best out of all who know her. A peacemaker who once wrote: "Remember that love is better than being right". Blessed are the Peace Makers: For they are the children of God. Survived by beloved husband of 60 years Augustine John; sons, Robert James Cesarini (Nancy Fancher), Rochester, John Steven (Nancy Lea) Cesarini, Sparks, NV; grandchildren, Esabella Cesarini, Julia Sara Cesarini; brother, Robert (Theresa) Karney, Big Flats; several nieces, nephews and cousins including special nieces, Karen Marie Dibling, Mary Lou Stead & Cindy Sambroski; special great niece and nephew Barbara Ann Biroscak & Andrew Biroscak; pre-deceased by parents, Sara and Earl Karney Sr.; sister, Loretta Louise Karney; brother Earl Karney Jr. A communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish and loved the beauty of nature, especially flowers. She was retired from Thatcher Glass after 20 years. Those wishing can make a donation in Barbara's name to Christ the Redeemer Parish (envelopes available at the Funeral Home). The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home Monday, June 20th from 3 to 6 p.m. followed immediately by her Funeral Service at 6 p.m. Rev. Scott Kubinski, officiating. Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
